My favorite go-to travel agency Get Away Today launched a one week only Disneyland ticket sale that is good for travel any time in 2016. Adults can save up to $15 per ticket with their Adults at Kids’ Prices sale on any 3-day or longer Park Hopper Tickets. These tickets also come with one Magic Morning early entry for Disneyland. You definitely want to take advantage of that as you can run right up to your favorite rides before the park gets busy. The nice thing about…

Mummies: Secrets from the Tomb
I love history. And my children are quite interested in happenings of the past, too, so it’s turning out that we make a pretty good team of explorers. So this year as part of our social studies, I purchased the Story of the World by Susan Wise Bauer. Story of the World comes in four volumes: Ancient Times, The Middle Ages, Early Modern Times, and the Modern Age. We started at the beginning with Ancient times and kicked things off with cavemen. Recently though, we’ve been finishing up our lessons about Ancient Egypt and the Pharaohs. I happened to check the website for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles…

Knott’s Berry Farm Offers Affordable Fun!
Yesterday our family spent the New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm and had so much fun enjoying the sights and sounds that this family-friendly amusement park offers. From the Camp Snoopy to the more adventurous rides for daredevils (my daughter) they really have so much to offer. I like that Knott’s Berry Farm is really affordable for families and that they offer 6 easy monthly payment plans for the Season Passes. They offer live entertainment, family-friendly rides, thrill rides, great food throughout the park and shopping. It is a great place to visit throughout the year. Here are some of our favorite things to do at the park: Visit…
