Travel :: Tips and Highlights for Visiting Thailand with Kids
“You’re going Where??? To Thailand??? And you you’re taking the kids??? Wow…” That pretty much sums up the reaction we got when we told people where we were headed over Thanksgiving break. I understand their reactions. After I got married and started planning to have kids, my motto was “I’ll never stop travelling! We’ll just bring the kids with us, of course!” In my previous life (as I like to call it), I was blessed with a love of travel. I visited 5 continents and over 25 countries and I had no intention of letting a silly little thing called “motherhood” get in the way of continuing…

Field Trippin’ Moms Head to Spain
Wanderlust has a cure. We are two moms with three kids each, animals, carpools, sports, volunteering, etc…you know the drill. We are happy to do it all and even enjoy it (most of the time). We are also fortunate enough to have husbands that have encouraged us to embrace our travel dreams! Traveling in January may seem odd to some, but for us, it is ideal because it’s affordable, there are less tourist and it’s off-season for our kids sports. A Grand Canyon Family Adventure
The Grand Canyon is a fantastic place for a family adventure. I was worried at first. My nature is to foresee the worst possible outcome and worry about it fanatically. So of course, I pictured my children tumbling over the edge. But thanks to my tight grip on tiny wrists we avoided that. It was in fact, one of my favorite vacations so far. We spent a week exploring Grand Canyon National Park in November. One of the great things about the Park is once you enter, you don’t really need to leave until you are ready to go. There are plenty of affordable places to eat within the…
