Travel :: Experience Xcaret in Mexico’s Riviera Maya
“Wanderlust: n. a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world” Sometimes you travel and then sometimes you travel and it changes you. Or brings you back to yourself. That is how I felt after spending a few days in Cancun, Mexico and experiencing the Xcaret Parks. Located on the eastern part of the Yucatan Peninsula, just south of Cancun, Riviera Maya stretches 100 miles along the Mexican Caribbean. Known for their white beaches, blue waters and Mayan ruins, it truly feels like paradise and the perfect get-away for couples, families or even a girls trip. There is so much to share with you…

Travel :: A Visit to Idyllwild
Recently I had a chance to participate in a media trip with ConnectHER Media and visit the lovely town of Idyllwild. This was my first time visiting this cute mountain town and I have to say I came away this past week dying to bring my family for a visit as I know they would love the scenery and amazing restaurants. It is such a gorgeous city and one of the mom’s who helped organize the trip said it hasn’t changed much in the 25 plus years she and her family has visited. Idyllwild’s visitor center describes the city perfectly. Idyllwild is a nature-lovers oasis located…

What’s Happening in Southern California October 2018
It’s my favorite time of the year! There is so much going on over the holidays in Southern California. From haunted mansions at Disneyland to Spooky good times at Knott’s Berry Farm – there is something for everyone! Disneyland Friday, September 7 – Wednesday, October 31 Halloween is so much fun at the Disney Resorts. Disneyland returns with such seasonal favorites as Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost, along with a pretty Pumpkin Parade. California Adventure turns Cars Land into “Radiator Screams,” and has a special Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark Halloween experience. Times vary for these events. The Nolcha Shows during New York Fashion Week
Last month I was invited to attend The Nolcha Shows held during New York Fashion Week. I have wanted to attend NYFW forever and this year I decided to just make it happen as I hadn’t been to New York in almost twenty years and I was long overdue. Have you been? It is one of my favorite cities and I can see why people fall in love with the place – from the never ending nightlife to amazing food – this is one city everyone needs to visit at least once! The week before I was scrambling trying to figure out what to wear and luckily, the ladies…
