We absolutely love these books and I have to say as a mom of a reluctant reader that the Captain Underpants book series really helped my daughter become more interested in reading. Now, she will pick up a book and read it for the joy of reading but there was a period of time a few years back that it was really tough to convince her to pick up a book, but she really connected the Captain Underpants and it was a turning point for her.
