Every single Sunday I make crepes for my family. The crepe making started out as a weekend treat when my kids were little and gradually became our Sunday tradition. Preparing the crepes, and the fillings that go with them, makes me grateful I can create something my family loves and gives me hope that my kids will remember these mornings when they are off to college and beyond (which is creeping up really, really fast). Yummy Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
Ooey, gooey, yummy cinnamon rolls! They’re a favorite here in our house. Several years ago, I started teaching my kids to make them and before that having them help me. They love being in the kitchen and these are really easy to make – as the girl loves surprising me with them! Sometimes we change things up (for the filling) or will do a half and half alternative if we’re running low on milk or sugar. My daughter gets very excited when I ask her on a Saturday or Sunday morning if she wants pancakes for breakfast. I really like the Multigrain recipe I found in Kitchen Sense by Mitchell Davis but this morning I thought I’d try the buttermilk recipe.
