My son and I love to do these types of crafts. The arms and legs can move into fun poses and it’s on a stick so you can ‘plant’ them everywhere. The scarecrow is a favorite for our fall decor. You can find him between apples and pumpkins or pretty fall leaves. I have a pattern ready for you to download, print and color. You can add googly eyes, yarn for hair – be creative! DIY Housewarming Gift Ideas
There must be something in the air because I have five friends who have moved homes in the past few months! As anyone knows who has moved this can be really stressful, especially when kids are involved. I know when we moved out of our apartment over 13 years ago I could not believe how much stuff we had in that was somehow jammed into every corner of our 1,000 sq. foot place! Father’s Day Gift Ideas
It’s almost time for dad’s to get their day of recognition (June 21st) this year. On that note, I decided to put some things together from free to high for the man/men in your life. *Note: a couple freebies are below for child(ren) to make with your assistance for their dad/grandpa* I’d also like to take a moment and say: this year will be eight years of not having my dad here to splurge on, make fun of, laugh with, and really just see him and get that huge bear-hug which engulfed me and made me feel three all over again. I was/am/always will be a daddy’s girl. I miss looking into my…

Family Is What You Make It!
Families. Today, we are seeing all types of families and they are starting to look less like The Cleavers! What we see today has evolved into a vast range of possibilities. Our family consists of in-laws, cousins, sister-in-laws, with a few adorable kids thrown in as well. And since we celebrate both Christian and Jewish holidays we can be found honoring both religions around the holidays with Passover, Easter, Christmas and Hanukah. This makes for a pretty busy holiday season but I wouldn’t want to trade it with anything else! I just love that my daughter is gaining an understanding of our family traditions. Through the years, I have…
