The PicCollage App and HP Help Create Memories
Last year I heard from a friend who is pretty tech savvy about this really cool app that lets you create fun collages from your photographs. I was looking for an easy way to create cards and quotes from photographs I had taken. The PicCollage app is really easy to use and this is coming from someone not particularly that tech savvy! Musings :: Making Memories Our Kids Will Treasure
Last night I was reminded how all that our kids really want (or need) is our time. Yes, our undivided time without interruptions – from other people, pets, gadgets, the phone, etc., etc. All those things that pull at us and are easy to get wrapped up into and take away our attention and focus from the here and now. It is funny, because as a kid I didn’t really like this dish but now I absolutely love it! We ended up using Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom with garlic (highly recommend) and steamed the fresh green beans before we baked the casserole (also recommend doing this for a minute or two). I…

Creating Family Traditions at Christmas
There are few holidays that hold the place of Christmas for family traditions. Through the years we create and maintain traditions that have a special place in our memories. Some are sacred and never change, while others are replaced with a new tradition that fits the family dynamics at the time. When our son was growing up, the day after Thanksgiving we gathered with extended family and turkey leftovers and drove to Santa’s Acres to cut down the perfect tree. When our son went off to college, we purchased our first pre-lit tree. I used my creative side to decorate it in elegant gold and white ornaments, garlands, flowers…
