    Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest Airs October 28th

        We love Curious George!   And we love Halloween!  So we are so excited to tell you about the first ever CURIOUS GEORGE Halloween special – CURIOUS GEORGE: A Halloween Boo Fest. The PBS Kids one-hour special celebrates curiosity, friendship and trying new things, all while providing safe and family-friendly holiday entertainment. CURIOUS GEORGE: A Halloween Boo Fest features three original songs, including “It’s Halloween Today,” sung by Pat Monahan, the lead singer of Train.     I love how life can be so serendipitous (a word you would find on WordGirl). While walking to breakfast at the PBS annual meeting that I attended this month as part of their PBS Kids Ambassador Program, I happened to be walking next to a woman who was also going to breakfast.  We started talking and turns out she is the Executive Producer of Curious George but she explained that her “baby” is WordGirl.  I literally stopped in my tracks as we are big fans of WordGirl!  I told her how my sister-in-law dressed up my niece as Captain Huggyface and her older daughter as WordGirl one year for Halloween.  It was…

    PBS Kids Curious George takes an Australian Adventure December 3rd

    Most of us grew up reading Curious George and now our children are able to enjoy him on PBS Kids.  Curious George is in its seventh season and is television’s number one series for preschoolers.  They are opening their seventh season with a trip down under and animal conservationist Bindi Irwin is making a special appearance.  I am so excited to see her continue the work her father, Steve Irwin, started years ago.  This episode “Monkey Down Under” takes George and The Man with the Yellow Hat south for an Australian Outback Adventure.  While The Man with the Yellow Hat goes sea cow sightseeing, George decides to stay behind to investigate a…
