Alice Through the Looking Glass Reunites Cast

    November 9, 2015 /

Growing up, Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite stories as it really stretches your imagination.  Alice falling down the rabbit hole, shrinking and then growing after drinking a bottle of who-knows-what that was labeled drink me, are just some of the fantastical visuals we enjoy in Alice in Wonderland.  It is a story and classic movie that really opens up worlds of possibilities! I was so happy to see Tim Burton create a whimsical and other-worldly Alice in Wonderland movie a few years back.  Have you seen this movie yet?  I think it is best for tweens on up as there can be some scary parts for the littles.…

Disney Pixar “The Good Dinosaur” Activity Sheets & Games

    October 27, 2015 /

As a kid I was completely fascinated by dinosaurs.  It just seemed amazing to me that creatures that big once ruled the Earth! And then over time, poof!, they were gone.  I don’t think my mind at that time comprehended the damage an asteroid could do to our planet – and it stills seems pretty daunting don’t you think?  My daughter shares this love of dinosaurs and we are really excited to see the new Disney Pixar movie The Good Dinosaur out next month.   “The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs…

Come meet Brad Bird, Director of Tomorrowland

    October 13, 2015 /

“Exploring what it means to be alive, that’s what storytelling is all about.”  ~ Brad Bird   You know when you meet someone and as you speak with them you are blown away with their creativity and insight into humanity? That somehow, their brains are working on a whole other level – kind of what it must of felt like to have meet Walt Disney!  Well, that is what I felt while talking with Brad Bird, the Director of Tomorrowland as part of the round table interviews we had at the Tomorrowland Disney Media Event September 21st.  You might have seen other movies he worked on such as The Incredibles (2004, Writer…

Disney’s Zootopia – New Poster Now Available!

    October 3, 2015 /

ZOOTOPIA My daughter and I love to head to the latest movies and have seen the preview for Zootopia a couple times and can’t wait to see it once it comes out next March!   The story is about a melting pot of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, where animals from every environment live together – a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything.  What a great message! The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the…
