Play :: Show Your Disney Side!

    February 11, 2014 /

“I received free products in order to host the Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own.”   There is just something about walking through the gates at Disneyland that makes me feel like I am 7 years old again!  I am usually rushing through the entrance as I can’t wait to ride the roller coasters – Space Mountain is one of our favorites, and take a ride through Pirates of the Carribean for the 100th time.  It has been so wonderful sharing Disneyland with my daughter and we have had season passes since she was old enough to walk.  Last year my husband…

    December 11, 2013 /

We had one of those nights last night.  You know where your child is up in the middle of the night and can’t seem to get settled.  Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep, so we are planning a relaxing day after school and headed to see the new Disney movie Frozen.  I can’t wait as I have heard from several of my mom friends that this is a really great movie and that they even cried at the end!  So we are super excited about reviewing the new Frozen app created by Disney.  The first page opens up and we see the two main characters, Princess Anna and her older sister…

    November 26, 2013 /

Sofia the First and her friends are back in an all new Story Theater app from Disney Publishing – Sofia the First: The Floating Palace. This undersea adventure introduces a brand new Sofia story and allows kids to create their own stories in the popular Puppet Theater. Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph and Hero’s Duty Comic App Review & Giveaway

    March 12, 2013 /

This week we purchased the newly released Wreck-It Ralph movie DVD and have watched it no less than 20 times! You could say we are big fans of Wreck-It Ralph in this household. My husband and I enjoy watching the movie because it reminds us of the days spent at our local arcade and my daughter loves all the silly jokes. In celebration of the new DVD and Blu-ray release, Disney has provided us with some code to hand out to Penelope’s mates for the awesome Wreck-It Ralph and Hero’s Duty Comic App. I had a chance to review both and really like what each has to offer. Wreck-It…
