Interview with some Disney Dreamers and Innovators

    October 8, 2015 /

If I am feeling a little down I know if I take a local trip to Disneyland with my daughter it will immediately cheer me up.  There is something so magical about walking through the gates of Disneyland and it always takes me back to being a kid.  You can’t help but feel like a big kid again where the world was open wide in front of you.  What a magical thing that Walt Disney created and the spirit is continued with today’s Disney Dreamers and Innovators!     As part of the Tomorrowland Media Event we met with some Disney Dreamers including the Director of Tomorrowland, and the two…

Interview with the Stars of Tomorrowland Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson

    October 3, 2015 /

Last week I had a chance to sit down and speak with the stars of Tomorrowland Raffey Cassidy (Athena) and Thomas Robinson (Young Frank) at the Disney Tomorrowland Media Event.  An English child actor, Raffey is known for her roles in Snow White and the Huntsman, Mr. Selfridge, and Tomorrowland. Raffey Cassidy is from Worsley, near Manchester in England. Young Frank, played by Thomas Robinson, is an American actor who can also be seen in The Switch.     It was a roundtable interview and they had about five tables filled with bloggers to talk to.  Our group was the last in line and you would think they would…

The Magic of Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary Celebration

    September 29, 2015 /

“Disneyland will never be completed, as long as there is imagination left in the world.” ~ Walt Disney Growing up in Southern California we would take a trip to Disneyland about once or twice a year and it was always so magical!  Usually my parents would surprise my brother and I and announce over breakfast “we are going to Disneyland” which we would respond with yelps and screams of joy!  This was back in the day when Disneyland had E Tickets (anyone remember those) so we had to pick our favorite rides for those treasured E Tickets. Disneyland is celebrating it’s 60th Anniversary all year long and guests will experience…

    Disneyland’s 60th Diamond Celebration Starts May 22nd

    May 21, 2015 /

Disneyland Diamond Celebration Begins! Every year we save up to get our Disneyland Season Passes because we love heading over there for an afternoon stroll after school or during holiday breaks.  And it wouldn’t be (my) birthday celebration without spending the day there with my crew!  It is such a magical place and every time I walk through the gates I immediately turn into my eight year old self.  It is so exciting to hear they are celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year and boy, do they have a ton of fun activities planned! Hope you can stop by the park and enjoy the celebrations!    Image courtesy of Get Away Today Join…
