DIY Sharpie Art Apron Looking for the perfect handmade gift for Mother’s Day? Look no further! Make something useful that Mom will love. You will need: Apron (I bought mine on Amazon here) Sharpies, fine and ultra fine point Rubbing Alcohol Paint Brush Paper Towel Bird Template Print out the bird to size you like. This is a wonderful project for adults and kids to try. It is easy and fun and you can find stuff in and around your house to use. My son, Ruan, made a very cute one for his teacher as her holiday gift this year. You will need: some yarn and/or fabric cardboard box a stick, twig or driftwood ruler, pencil and scissors Cut a piece of cardboard box. The one I used is 5 x 7. Measure half inch marks on the box. Materials • Red and light green yarn, 3 feet for each apple • Brown and dark green pipe cleaners • Wire cutters (or good scissors to cut pipe cleaners) • Scissors • Cardboard Preparation: Cut pieces of cardboard 2 x 5 inches Bend each piece in half lengthwise, then open it again, so it is almost flat again.
