    May 10, 2016 /

I love to give handmade gifts and if I end up buying gifts then the wrapping should have a handmade touch. I will show you how I transformed this ordinary papermache box found at Michaels into a super cute box, pretty enough that you will want to keep it. 5 Unique Ideas to Bring More Color into Your Home

    February 23, 2016 /

For many years now I have been decorating my home with neutrals.  From my light colored grey walls, to wood furniture, I have preferred to stick to neutrals.  But this past year I’ve been drawn to homes that are decorated with pops of color.  I adore Jonathan Adler’s style, Interior Decorator/Author Emily Henderson and the countless talented designers you find on Instagram.  The homes I am most drawn to are where we see a mix of textiles, textures and color.  Are you finding your tastes are changing as well?  Here are some simple ideas to help bring some color into your home.  Anything from painting chairs you find at your local discount store to painting the inside of…

Easy Tips for Getting Your Pantry Organized

    February 15, 2016 /

I have been on a mission to get our home decluttered and organized.  I would almost say it is bordering on an obsession!  When I have a couple hours, you can usually find me going through each room in the house getting rid of stuff we no longer: use, need or want.  Two weekends ago I cleared out the Master Bedroom sink area and it felt so good.  Three trash bags later I felt so great!  Now, I am looking to get our pantry organized and will share pictures once it is done but went on a hunt to find some ideas to try out. Here are some of my…

Tips to Incorporate the Color of the Year in your Interior

    December 30, 2015 /

Tips to Incorporate the Color of the Year in your Interior Every year the Pantone Color Institute, the worldwide reference for colors for the design professionals, selects “The Color of the Year”, a symbolic color, which supposedly reflects the color trend of the year to come.
