Celebrate Earth Day All Month Long With PBS Kids!
Beginning this month, PBS KIDS is springing into Earth Month with its annual Explore the Outdoors initiative, encouraging families to get outside and discover nature. Our family loves to take nature walks and we try to do this together a couple times a week. Sometimes we head to our local park with the dog (though he is not a good family walker – he gets too excited and does better on solo walks!) or the Back Bay while our daughter rides her bike. One of my favorite shows of PBS Kids is the two-time Emmy Award winning daily series Curious George. I love how this classic story that we enjoyed as a kid is available for our kids to watch as a series. The television show is designed to inspire kids to explore science, math and engineering in the world around them in a fun and entertaining way.
