Chef Vivian Howard of A Chef’s Life and co-owner of Chef & the Farmer has a featured recipe of Oysters on the Half Shell with Muscadine and Apple Mignonette.       Breakfast just might be my favorite meal of the day and we serve breakfast for dinner at least once a week at our house.  Going out to eat breakfast on Sundays was a big part of my childhood. There was a family-owned restaurant up the street from where we lived and we frequented their restaurant quite often. But my dad was famous for making his grits and sausages.  I love grits to this day and always order a side of them if they are served at the restaurant.
