Experience The Disney Social Media Mom “On-The-Road” Conference With Me!

    September 1, 2017 /

A few weeks ago I received some Pixie Dust from the crew over at Disney Moms.  They are the group that put on the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration On-The-Road Conferences that are held a couple times a year in various spots across the country.  I always enjoy going to these conferences because it just brings out the kid in me (doesn’t Disneyland do that to everyone?!) and also to hear about the cool things happening with Disney.   We also heard from social media industry experts such as Erin Glover, who is an editor for the Disney Parks Blog and Megan Sayers Chapman from Babble who provided wonderful advice to…

The NUT JOB 2: Nutty by Nature Out in Theaters August 11th

    August 12, 2017 /

Today is the day when The NUT JOB 2: Nutty by Nature comes out!  You just might want to take the kids this weekend and check it out.  We really enjoyed this movie and were laughing along with the kids.  The cast in The NUT JOB 2 are amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with Will Arnett as the lead character.  In The NUT JOB 2, Surly Squirell (Will Arnett) and the gang are back.  We are once again in Oakton where the evil mayor has decided to bulldoze Liberty Park and build a dangerous amusement park in its place.  Surly and his ragtag group of animal friends…

HBO’s Big Little Lies Immersive Theater Event at The Victorian

    August 5, 2017 /

This week I was invited to attend HBO Home Entertainment’s immersive theatrical experience inspired by the Emmy-nominated HBO Limited Series BIG LITTLE LIES, which is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download.  It was hosted at The Victorian which was originally built near the Hotel Miramar in 1892 as the residence of one the neighborhood’s founding families. The two-story building was moved to its current location in 1973. Heritage Square is a prime pocket of nostalgic architecture, with the California Heritage Museum and its sprawling lawn on one side and The Victorian on the other. Completely and carefully renovated, The Victorian has had its main rooms enlarged and added…

Interview with Pharrell Williams of Despicable Me 3 – In Theaters June 30th

    June 30, 2017 /

This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures.   Illumination, who brought moviegoers Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the story of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3.   After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis.  But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain…

    June 21, 2017 /

In partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures Parents will do just about anything to help support their children’s dreams and wishes!  So I think many people will be able to relate to new comedy The House starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler who find themselves in a rough situation after losing their daughter Alex’s college fund.   Scott and Kate Johansen become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university. With the help of their neighbor Frank (Jason Mantzoukas), they decide to start an illegal casino in his house. I think back at my husbands and my own experiences of supporting our daughter’s…
