What’s Happening in Southern California October 2018
It’s my favorite time of the year! There is so much going on over the holidays in Southern California. From haunted mansions at Disneyland to Spooky good times at Knott’s Berry Farm – there is something for everyone! Disneyland Friday, September 7 – Wednesday, October 31 Halloween is so much fun at the Disney Resorts. Disneyland returns with such seasonal favorites as Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost, along with a pretty Pumpkin Parade. California Adventure turns Cars Land into “Radiator Screams,” and has a special Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark Halloween experience. Times vary for these events. Circus Trix OC Offers An Amazing Indoor Experience
Birthday Celebrations: This past month we hosted a belated birthday party for my daughter. When her birthday came around in July we just had so much going on we didn’t have the time to organize a birthday party for her. Mind you, we did celebrate with the family, but kids like to invite their friends to celebrate their day. The Southern California Great Wolf Lodge Exceeds All Expectations!
Our family had a chance to check out the recently opened Great Wolf Lodge Garden Grove last month and boy did it exceed our expectations! The company who created this amazing Water Park really thought of just about everything a family might want to experience. From the water slides, water park for little ones, to a 24 hour arcade and mini bowling alley – there really is something for everyone. The 12th Annual Art in the Park takes place Saturday, October 10 from 10:00 to 4:00 on the Civic Green at the Newport Beach Civic Center, 100 Civic Center Dr., Newport Beach.
