It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Universal Studios Hollywood

    December 3, 2018 /

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at The Entertainment Capital of L.A. as Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk deck the halls with a wintry calendar of festive holiday experiences and an array of delectable treats that families and friends far and wide can enjoy.  Universal Studios is fun all year long but especially during the holidays!  Can’t wait to check it out with the family! The addition of nightly glistening snowfall to “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” will enhance the yuletide spirit that resonates throughout the land as HogwartsTM castle transforms into a dazzling light projection spectacular and the quaint town of Hogsmeade…

What’s Happening in Southern California October 2018

    October 10, 2018 /

It’s my favorite time of the year!  There is so much going on over the holidays in Southern California.  From haunted mansions at Disneyland to Spooky good times at Knott’s Berry Farm – there is something for everyone!   Disneyland Friday, September 7 – Wednesday, October 31 Halloween is so much fun at the Disney Resorts. Disneyland returns with such seasonal favorites as Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost, along with a pretty Pumpkin Parade. California Adventure turns Cars Land into “Radiator Screams,” and has a special Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark Halloween experience. Times vary for these events. August 21, 2018 /

Artistic Trading Cards – Calling All Kids     Remember how much you enjoyed getting mail in the mailbox as a child?  Well, your kid can have that same feeling of having the world reach them with a little help from the grown-up artist in their life.  This is a great summer activity for the kids and with the holidays approaching you can make themed-art as well!   Source: Daisy Yellow Art Join In The Fun: Artistic Trading Cards (ATC) are a world-wide phenomenon and a fun way for children and adults to craft together. Netflix original series DreamWorks The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants premieres July 13th

    July 13, 2018 /

TRA-LA-LAAAA!  So excited!  We absolutely love these books and I have to say as a mom of a reluctant reader that the Captain Underpants book series really helped my daughter become more interested in reading.  Now, she will pick up a book and read it for the joy of reading but there was a period of time a few years back that it was really tough to convince her to pick up a book, but she really connected the Captain Underpants and it was a turning point for her. Hurray for books like these that help with our reluctant readers!  Fans of Captain Underpants – hold tight and get ready for…
