I remember we arrived late to the theater and the only seats available were at the very front so our family grab the last few seats and literally had front-row seats. At the age of eight my love of Sci-Fi/Fantasy had begun! My little brain was blown-away by the movie and all the cool weapons and flying cars! I SO wanted a hover craft! I love sharing the classic Star War movies with…

“Exploring what it means to be alive, that’s what storytelling is all about.” ~ Brad Bird You know when you meet someone and as you speak with them you are blown away with their creativity and insight into humanity? That somehow, their brains are working on a whole other level – kind of what it must of felt like to have meet Walt Disney! Well, that is what I felt while talking with Brad Bird, the Director of Tomorrowland as part of the round table interviews we had at the Tomorrowland Disney Media Event September 21st. Family :: Tis the Season for Some Downtime
It seems like every mom I run into these days has a look of “oh, boy, the holidays are almost here!” This time of year can be so hectic between shuffling the kids to hockey games, helping solve their quadratic equations and giving the little ones their baths, that you might skip doing the things that help keep you in a balanced and calm state. Why not take a walk with some friends? Or head out to your favorite breakfast sans kids and read a book while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Or maybe catch up on some missed episodes – if not full seasons – of some your favorite shows. Did…

Young Frank, played by Thomas Robinson, is an American actor who can also be seen in The Switch. It was a roundtable interview and they had about five tables filled with bloggers to talk to. Our group was the last in line and you would think they would…

Shaun the Sheep Review, Craft Ideas and Giveaway
Lately my daughter has been very interested in making stop-motion videos. She has been using her Minecraft characters to make these short clips using the LEGO Video App. I’ll have to post one of her video’s! She loves to show off her work to us and I think it is great that she is being creative. When we heard that the stop-motion animated television series Shaun the Sheep was coming out with a movie we couldn’t wait to go see it! The British series features Shaun and is a spin-off of the Wallace and Gromit franchise. After school on Friday we headed to our favorite local theater and watched it. …

Minions :: A Movie Review, Giveaway and Party Ideas
We had a chance to attend a prescreening of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions a few weekends ago and I have to say it is my daughter’s absolute favorite movie she has seen so far this summer. I do think Inside Out is a close second since we’ve seen it five times already but something about these funny little yellow guys had our whole family laughing throughout the movie. At the start of the movie we see that Minions began at the dawn of time where they started as single-celled yellow organisms and evolved through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters—from T.…
