Last week I picked up a premade Italian Chopped Salad at the grocery that included all the makings (Romaine Lettuce, Brocolli, Red Cabbage, Green Onions, and Parsley) for a yummy Italian salad. Family :: Creating Magical Holiday Meals Together
The holidays provide the perfect opportunity to spend quality time together making yummy holidays meals. It is such a wonderful time to pass down family recipes and have your kids help out in the kitchen. Just this past Thanksgiving, I had my daughter help me make the infamous green-bean casserole that my mother use to make every year. It is funny, because as a kid I didn’t really like this dish but now I absolutely love it! PBS KIDS tapped into the millennial parent mindset with the Millennial Parent Holiday Wishes Survey and found that these young parents don’t want a high-paced, tech-overloaded holiday this year, but instead a simpler season with less shopping and more family fun.
