Dawn of the Croods: Now on Netflix
Our Winter break was busy. Full of family activities and finishing up last minute shopping. And of course we all got sick. We took advantage of our sick days by staying in our pajamas and watching television. Fortunately for us, Netflix released Dawn of the Croods, a new animated cartoon series by DreamWorks Animation, on Christmas Eve. Dawn of the Croods serves as a prequel animated series based on DreamWorks’ previously released animated full length feature The Croods. HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 :: Review & Giveaway
“A joy for both kids and adults alike.” – Greg Wakeman, CinemaBlend Hotel Transylvania is one of our family’s favorite movies! But little do they know that Drac’s grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad (comedy legend Mel Brooks) is about…

Yesterday our family spent the New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm and had so much fun enjoying the sights and sounds that this family-friendly amusement park offers. From the Camp Snoopy to the more adventurous rides for daredevils (my daughter) they really have so much to offer. I like that Knott’s Berry Farm is really affordable for families and that they offer 6 easy monthly payment plans for the Season Passes. They offer live entertainment, family-friendly rides, thrill rides, great food throughout the park and shopping. It is a great place to visit throughout the year. Here are some of our favorite things to do at the park: Visit…

Connecting with Loved Ones
I really like when my job pushes me to think about things – about life, relationships, and ourselves. This month as part of the Stonyfield YoGetters group I was asked to talk with my daughter about when she feels most loved by myself and my husband. The question is not necessarily a tough one to ask but maybe the answers might be hard to hear in the sense of finding out whether I am doing enough of what makes her feel most loved. What do you think your kids would say if you asked them: “So when do you feel loved? What can mommy and daddy do to help you feel loved?”…
