It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Universal Studios Hollywood
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at The Entertainment Capital of L.A. as Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk deck the halls with a wintry calendar of festive holiday experiences and an array of delectable treats that families and friends far and wide can enjoy. Universal Studios is fun all year long but especially during the holidays! Can’t wait to check it out with the family! The addition of nightly glistening snowfall to “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” will enhance the yuletide spirit that resonates throughout the land as HogwartsTM castle transforms into a dazzling light projection spectacular and the quaint town of Hogsmeade…

Winter Fest 2016 :: A Magical Event at the OC Fair December 16 – January 1st.
Winter is indeed coming! That special time of the year when you cuddle up by the fireplace, sip hot chocolate, build loving memories with your families during the holidays, and build a snowman has finally arrived. Okay, maybe not so much the building a snowman part. For most of us Southern California natives, we know that there aren’t many places where we can actually get a true winter experience without taking a road trip up to the mountains. Our family loves to ski and last year enjoyed skiing at Mountain High over the winter break. Though we have no room to complain about our weather (it’s hot…

12 Reasons We Love Netflix this Holiday Season
It has been a real treat working with Netflix these past two years. I have seen them grow into such a great media provider that offers so many wonderful and intriguing shows. We are currently watching Netflix’s new series Jessica Jones and River. Both are awesome shows and will have you on the edge of your seat. The acting in River is amazing and you might find yourself binge watching the series. Just giving you a heads-up and warning that you might not get much sleep once you decide to start it. It is that good! Our family loves to spend time chilling on the sofa so we are always looking for…

What’s Hot in Southern California :: Knott’s Merry Farm
Our family had a chance to check out Knott’s Merry Farm this month and it reminded me of how much fun Knott’s is during the holiday season. The entire theme park is decorated in Christmas cheer and you can’t help but noticing all the little additions throughout the park. It really does get you in the spirit of the holidays! Plus they are known for all of their amazing rides and my daughter absolutely loves roller coasters so we could be found running from ride to ride throughout the park. I recommend to do this before you eat lots of sweets! Note to self for next time! The largest Christmas Tree…

Gorgeous Holiday Table Setting Ideas
Part of making the holidays extra special is setting the mood and creating a beautiful table for your holiday meal that shows that you took some extra care for your loved ones. I know it made me so happy to see our Thanksgiving table set up with the help of my daughter with some simple decorations that she helped me make. We made some birch tree covered candle holders that literally took us five minutes to make and cost no money! Minus the tea candle we put in the glass artichoke jar I saved from Trader Joes! We also covered two Ikea glass jars with birch wood that was filled with roses from our…
