      Have you had a chance to check out PBS’s A Chef‘s Life, the character-driven docu-series that takes viewers inside the life and kitchen of Chef Vivian Howard and her two restaurants located in the low country of eastern North Carolina?  She offers delicious recipes and I love their lifestyle.  Can I go live on a farm somewhere too?!       For my daughter’s end of the year kindergarten carnival party I signed up to bring popsicles.  Having my masters in nutrition has helped me to decipher through ingredient lists to see what our family should and shouldn’t eat.  And to be honest, I am always a bit disgusted at the snacks – even the ones who claim to be “healthy” snacks that companies put out on the shelves for our kids.  I grabbed some popsicles that I use to eat as a kid and looked at the ingredient list on my way up to the checkout.  I didn’t like that High Fructose Corn Syrup was listed in the label as…
