Top 10 DIY Craft Projects with Mason Jars

    August 8, 2013 /

If your house is anything like my own, it is safe to say that there is a hefty surplus of leftover re-sealable jars. My kitchen was absolutely cluttered with an excess of used mason jars that I refused to throw out because I knew that someday I would put them to use. With the help of Pinterest I was able to find countless craft projects designed around utilizing old mason jars.…

    June 5, 2013 /

Yesterday, I took my daughter out of kindergarten early and headed to Knott’s Berry Farm.  Lately, I have been feeling like time is just going by too quickly and she is growing up right before my eyes.  The other morning I came down the stairs and found her playing with her Lego’s in her superheroes pajamas and it reminded me of a story I had read years ago about how the author found as the years went by the fingerprints on the walls went higher and higher as her children grew and the toys she had to pick up on the ground went from baby toys, to Lego’s to teenage…

Crafts :: For Teacher Appreciation Week

    May 2, 2013 /

Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week: Since 1984, the National PTA has designated time each May for communities nationwide to honor teachers for their work with children. Parents, students, and schools across America celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week to show appreciation for the work and dedication of teachers and reaffirm the commitment to parent-teacher partnerships.   Mrs. Clinger was my sixth grade teacher and I still think about her after all these years.  She was just an amazing and caring teacher and really gave 110% to the kids!  So in support of all the great teachers – we found some really crafts you can give to your kids teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week…
