What’s Happening in Southern California October 2018
It’s my favorite time of the year! There is so much going on over the holidays in Southern California. From haunted mansions at Disneyland to Spooky good times at Knott’s Berry Farm – there is something for everyone! Disneyland Friday, September 7 – Wednesday, October 31 Halloween is so much fun at the Disney Resorts. Disneyland returns with such seasonal favorites as Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost, along with a pretty Pumpkin Parade. California Adventure turns Cars Land into “Radiator Screams,” and has a special Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark Halloween experience. Times vary for these events. Enjoy some Family Fun at Knott’s Spooky Farm this Halloween Season
Expanded Knott’s Spooky Farm returns this Fall offering more daytime family-friendly Halloween fun than ever before. Knott’s Spooky Farm: Knott’s Spooky Farm returns on weekends in October and Halloween Day, starting October 1. Geared for kids 3 – 11, this daytime park wide, family-friendly Halloween celebration invites families to join in Halloween fun by participating in hands on and fun activities and all new experiences in Ghost Town. Fun for the whole family: We had a blast last weekend visiting the park and enjoyed trick-or-treating and meeting Peppermint Patty and playing games found throughout the park. Knott’s Spooky Farm : Fun for the Whole Family!
Image courtesy of Knott’s Berry Farm. Last weekend we had a chance to check out the new Knott’s Spooky Farm and loved every minute of it. Going on every weekend for the month of October, Knott’s Spooky Farm is a daytime event and a non-scary celebration of cheer rather than fear with shows and activities all geared for kids ages 3-11. There are a ton of Halloween activities for kids throughout the park. Kids can take part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party” and also visit the Camp Spooky Theatre to view “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown”, a new Halloween show where everyone will be singing and dancing in the…
