The Importance of Celebrating National Reading Month

    March 25, 2015 /

Start a routine that inspires them for life: This month is National Reading Month and schools and parents across the country are getting involved in promoting a love of reading in children.  I love reading to my daughter and continue to do so even though she can read early chapter books.  It is more than reading to her, we enjoy this downtime and pick out books to read together. Audio instruction makes it simple for even the youngest kids to play solo or with a friend!     Yesterday we hosted a LeapTV “Leap Into…

    LeapFrog’s LeapReader Makes Learning Fun

    October 10, 2013 /

Recently I had the opportunity to work with LeapFrog and hosted a LeapReader “Ready, Set, Read & Write” Party with 11 schoolchildren and their moms.  They sent me a box of goodies and I received some promotional items in exchange for hosting a LeapReader party. LeapFrog is a leading designer, developer and marketer of innovative, technology-based educational products and related proprietary content. They are focused on developing products that will provide the most engaging, effective learning experience – for all ages, in school or home, around the world. We have used their products in the past to help my daughter learn her ABC’s and jumped at the chance to work…
