“Have courage and be kind” is a constant theme seen throughout Disney’s beloved and empowering fairytale told in a new beautiful way, Cinderella. The enchanting film arrives on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere September 15th with bonus features that include over 12 minutes of additional scenes, the “ Frozen Fever” theatrical short and more! My daughter and I saw Cinderella in the movie theater about five times.  That is how much we fell in love with the movie.  From the gorgeous dresses to wonderful message about having courage and being kind – both of us loved watching the movie.  The animation is fantastic and it is so fun watching the mice turn into…

Movie Review :: All Creatures Big and Small

    July 22, 2015 /

This past weekend my family and I attended a screening of the new animated movie All Creatures Big & Small which recently debuted on Google Play and in select theaters. Based on the Noah’s Ark story, all the creatures of the world gather to board the great Ark before the flood arrives. This fun and imaginative story includes a few made-up creatures like the Nestrians. As the flood arrives two young animals are left behind and are forced to learn to work together to overcome the challenges of survival. They find friendship and learn a few things about themselves along the way. My kids laughed at the humor and…

Movie Review :: Jurassic World is the best one yet!

    June 29, 2015 /

Our whole family went to see Jurassic World opening weekend at our local theater and boy, was it a packed house!  It seems like there are a lot of fans of this fun movie franchise – and for good reason! Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic series, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.  First off, I must admit I have a bit of a celebrity crush on Chris Pratt. I really loved him as Starlord in Guardians of the Galaxy, thought he always stole the scenes in Parks and Recreation and he definitely is fun to watch in Jurassic World.     “Twenty-two…

Movie Review: When The Game Stands Tall

    July 10, 2014 /

Image courtesy of Movie Guide   When The Game Stands Tall is a football movie. But this is a football movie about far more than the sport. It’s not about grown men; it’s about young men growing up. And it’s not just for football fans. This movie is for everyone. With the leadership of Coach Bob Ladouceur, the De La Salle high school football team won 151 straight games over twelve years. They hold the record for the longest winning streak by any team for any sport. Even the longest professional winning streak is a mere fraction of what De La Salle has achieved.     When The Game Stands…
