It began as a week-long event intended to raise awareness about bullying and the long-term effects. After partnering with many education-based organizations such as the National Education Association and the National PTA, PACER has become a reliable source for parents, students, and teachers to get valuable resources about bullying prevention. October is National Bullying Prevention Month and many organizations have provided some information to help parents and educators teach their children how best to handle these types of situations. National Bullying Prevention Month is a campaign in the United States founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Center for Bullying Prevention.
