Today I had a chance to speak to National Geographic Photographer Annie Griffiths on a conference call along with other National Geographic Kids Insiders. Annie has my dream job! I am not kidding! I remember watching the movie Bridges of Madison County years ago and thought that Clint Eastwood’s character had about the best job as he played a traveling National Geographic Photographer. I Dreamed of Africa: One of my longtime dreams is to take a safari in Africa. There is something so magical about seeing wild animals on the plains in Africa. Some of the animals I am most excited to experience (from a covered Jeep of course) are the magnificent lions. This past week we have heard a lot of Cecil the Lion and it saddens me so that people would want to kill these gorgeous beasts. Kids will love Camp Google – an online summer camp
This past week was the start of Camp Google featuring Sylvia Earle, marine biologist and Explorer-in-Residence at National Geographic and host of the first week of Camp Google. This online summer camp was created to spark curiosity in children with four weeks of live adventures geared towards students ages 7-10 now through August 7th.
