        National Young Readers Week is an annual event that was co-founded in 1989 by Pizza Hut and the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress that encourages a love of reading in kids. Share the timeless classics your parents once read to you, like The Velveteen Rabbit and The Little Engine That Could, with this list of titles inspired by books on Netflix. Introduce your child to favorite characters you grew up with, like Kristy and Claudia of The Babysitters Club or Tia and Tony from Escape to Witch Mountain.         October is National Bullying Prevention Month and many organizations have provided some information to help parents and educators teach their children how best to handle these types of situations.  National Bullying Prevention Month is a campaign in the United States founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Center for Bullying Prevention.  The campaign unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.
