Interviews with the Cast and Filmmakers of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part out in theaters 2/8

    February 5, 2019 /

A group of bloggers had a chance to meet the cast and filmmakers of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller (Producers/ Screenwriters) Mike Mitchell and Trisha Gum (Directors) last week at the W Hotel in Beverly Hills.  They were such a fun group of people and you could tell how much care went into making this movie – from the actors who love what they do, to the producers who are big kids themselves and super talented (they just finished Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), it was my pleasure to sit down with all of them…

Extended Stay America Hotels is joining forces with PUP STAR: WORLD TOUR, the exciting new addition to Air Bud Entertainment’s film franchise.  The pet-friendly hotel chain is proud to always roll out the welcome mat for pets, and it is even more proud to roll out the red carpet for this exciting partnership! The spin on pup-ular TV singing competitions invites families on an action-packed adventure alongside the series’ beloved talking (and singing) dogs. ‘Tiny,’ the adorable singing Yorkie pup, packs her bags for an epic trip and Extended Stay America is along for the adventure as the hotel makes its on-screen debut in several scenes throughout the film, which you…

Curiosity May Be the Single Most Important Trait for Success in School

    May 16, 2018 /

This week I came across an article that really hit home with me and confirmed my  thoughts on the importance of creativity and why parents and educators should encourage this trait. New research published in the journal Pediatric Research in April suggests there may be one simple trait that can help kids learn and succeed in school, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Researchers who looked at the reading and math scores of 6,200 kindergarteners in 2006 and 2007 found that those kids whose parents rated their children’s behavior as most curious did the best in school, regardless of socioeconomic status. The results were consistent for both boys and girls, too. The…

Interview with the cast and filmmakers of Tully

    May 5, 2018 /

I’ve been a big fan of Charlize Theron for quite some time now so when I was asked to be part of the press junket for Tully of course I was thrilled I’d be in the same room as this talented actress.  I mean my new hairdo was inspired by her last movie Atomic Blonde (though I didn’t get to tell her that I hope she didn’t think I was some crazy mom blogger).  Kidding aside, I really enjoyed interviewing the cast and filmmakers of this rather touching movie.  If you are a mom – you can’t help but be touched by the humanness of the story.  Diablo Cody and…
