PBS KIDS’ “Odd-tober” begins with an all-new ODD SQUAD one-hour special and the return of Halloween-themed family favorites from various series! On Monday, October 5, PBS KIDS will premiere “ODD SQUAD: Against the Odds,” which will include five 11-minute stories with Olive, Otto and the rest of the gang as they solve the community’s strange problems. As part of the PBS Kids VIP group I was provided some books and other materials to host a PBS Kids Summer Reading party. My daughter and I are always up for a party and especially if it is one where we are encouraging young readers a love of books! This past May I attended the PBS annual meeting in Miami as part of their Mom Blogger program. It was a great experience and it really honed in to the fact that PBS provides such quality programming for our kids! I grew up watching The Electric Company and Sesame Street and I have felt good about sharing their programs with my daughter. After my health scare this past year, I was reminded of how important it is to be in good health. It really is the foundation to living a full and vibrant life!
