    PBS Kids “Odd-tober” begins with an all-new ODD SQUAD

      PBS KIDS’ “Odd-tober” begins with an all-new ODD SQUAD one-hour special and the return of Halloween-themed family favorites from various series! On Monday, October 5, PBS KIDS will premiere “ODD SQUAD: Against the Odds,” which will include five 11-minute stories with Olive, Otto and the rest of the gang as they solve the community’s strange problems.  Related games, clips and full episodes will also be available on PBS KIDS digital platforms throughout the month.  ODD SQUAD is one of our favorite new shows!  You can read our interview with the creators, Tim McKeon (Adventure Time) and Adam Peltzman (The Electric Company) of this popular show here.       This past May I attended the PBS annual meeting in Miami as part of their Mom Blogger program.  It was a great experience and it really honed in to the fact that PBS provides such quality programming for our kids!  I grew up watching The Electric Company and Sesame Street and I have felt good about sharing their programs with my daughter.  When she was about two or three, we would sit on the sofa together and watch Big Bird and The Cookie Monster and laugh at their silly antics.  So it was really exciting for me to meet the new character on Sesame Street and talk a bit to…
