Batkid Saves San Francisco and Warms Hearts
A couple weeks ago, I was sent an email from Clever Girls Collective about a little boy named Miles, who has been battling leukemia since he was 18 months old (thankfully it is in remission), and asked that I help spread the word about an incredible event that was happening on November 15th in San Francisco. They were working with the San Francisco Make-A-Wish Foundation to help turn this little boy’s obsession with comic books into a day he (and the rest of the country) won’t forget. Those Southeast Asia travels opened up my eyes to the vastness of the world and I came to understand how much I had to learn.
