Dandelion Moms Project Kindness :: Helping an Autism Center
Dandelion Moms Project Kindness was created in order to support local, national and even worldwide organizations. A few years back our community sent a small town in the Dominican Republic over 250 books so they could open up a town library. Together, we helped raised over 300 Project Night Night tote bags that were given out to children in shelters across the country and supported the #LikeAGirl campaign that empowers young girls. Louisiana Flooding: Helping their Schools, Teachers and Students
We found out recently that several schools in and around the Ascension Parish would be delayed in opening/starting due to the recent flooding in Louisiana. Watching the news and reading the papers you feel it and you see it – just not the way those that are living there do. With getting my own children ready for school I had not even thought of “the schools” and how they were affected. I had seen mostly the displacement of families and pets and too many people losing everything. Left with unimaginable horror at what those in the area were dealing with and going through. The contest is designed to inspire students to be curious about the world. Schools with students in grades four through eight are eligible for this entertaining and challenging competition.
