Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Out in Theaters 6/17!
The time is now and after 13 years, I am so excited to say that FINDING DORY is now playing in theatres everywhere! This is one of Pixar’s best films and I promise the whole family will love this movie! Last month I had a chance to preview about 20 minutes of the much anticipated new Disney movie Finding Dory at the Disney Social Media Moms Conference and absolutely loved it! I wasn’t sure if this movie could compare to Finding Nemo but it sure does. Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about…

Kids will love Camp Google – an online summer camp
This past week was the start of Camp Google featuring Sylvia Earle, marine biologist and Explorer-in-Residence at National Geographic and host of the first week of Camp Google. This online summer camp was created to spark curiosity in children with four weeks of live adventures geared towards students ages 7-10 now through August 7th. During each of the four weeks of Camp Google, kids 7-10 can explore different subjects by joining live adventures—from the depths of the Atlantic to the top of one of the world’s most active volcanoes—and doing fun science projects. Last week, Sylvia and National Geographic diver Erika Bergman took kids on the first adventure—a live…

I’m well stocked with Usborne sticker books, wipe-clean flash cards, and learn-to-draw books. Here are a…

Culture :: The Titanic and Bodies Exhibition Tickets Giveaway
Next week, my daughter and I are going to tour the Premier Exhibitions, Titanic: The Experience and Bodies: The Exhibition in Buena Park where the former Movieland Wax Museum use to be. I have always been fascinated by the stories surrounding RMS Titanic and loved the movie when it came out years ago. At the moment, my daughter’s favorite book is Dr. Seuss’s Inside Your Outside which talks about how the body works so I think she will enjoy the Bodies Exhibition. I am told the two exhibitions are appropriate for ages seven on up. This would be a great activity to do with the kids while they are on summer break…

Kids :: Enjoy Summer with the BabbaBox
Have you ever woken up on summer morning, and asked “What am I going to do with my kids today”? Summer break is an amazing time of exploration, growth and bonding for you and yours. But it can also be taxing (ok, even maddening) for parents as we are faced with keeping our kids occupied all day with fun, enriching activities and picking up where school left off. As my daughter is still in kindergarten and only goes to school a few hours each day – there are some days when I ask myself what am I going to do today? My daughter loves to do crafts and science projects so we make frequent…
