Blabla kids was started in 2001 by Florence Wetterwald, Susan Pritchett and Joseph Strong. Their dolls are handmade by a women’s group in Peru and are about the cutest dolls in town! Blabla products have been featured in anything from Vogue to Milk Magazine and even their “Thing” doll was featured in a Kia car commercial (remember the sock monkey and big brown “thing” dancing on the dance floor?). The products are really well made. I love how many of the dolls has their own name and personality description on the website. For example, Sandwich the cat we are told makes the yummiest panini with basil and strawberries between two sheets of music. …

The mom I am featuring this week is one of my absolute favorite people! She lives her life like every day is an adventure and never takes things too seriously – yet has built a very successful company called blabla kids. You have probably seen these dolls in top children’s boutiques and trendy children’s catalogues. The designs are so simple yet so colorful. You can’t help but smile when you see a bla bla doll!
