Teen Brothers Launch Double Peak In Order to Give Back
Teenage brothers Connor (16) and Sean (13) Jabbar launched their venture Double Peak on December 1, 2017. Their idea was to combine their passion for the outdoors and boarding with their desire to give back to communities. As most “boarders” know, the peak is the best part of the ride. It’s where you feel alive, free and weightless….as if you can…

Culture :: Selfies – Are They Really Such A Big Deal?
If your kids are on social media, then you’ve probably heard them mention the word ‘selfie’ a time or two. The trend of taking pictures of themselves and then uploading them onto social profiles seems harmless enough, but when you look a little deeper, it’s a trend that could be fostering some negative behavior. The infographic below, by TeenSafe.com, provides more insight into selfies – what they are, where they came from, and why they’re so popular. While the photos can be a light-hearted way to connect with peers online, they can also create a sense of narcissism and self-obsession. Even more frightening is the fact that 25% of all…
