HangTime, the first and only dive coaster in California, is now open at Knott’s Berry Farm! HangTime towers 150 feet over the Boardwalk area showcasing a beyond vertical drop, gravity-defying inversions, and mid-air suspensions. The Peanuts Movie Brings Back Memories
Ever since I’ve seen a preview for The Peanuts movie at a Knott’s Berry Farm event last year, I have been on the edge of my seat waiting to see this movie. I absolutely LOVE the entire crew and use to carry around a stuffed Snoopy as a kid. Because of my fascination with all things Peanuts, I’ve interviewed and featured Charles M. Schulz wife and his son Craig (who shared with me that he was the inspiration for Pigpen – shhh!). He shared this with me after I told him our (secret) nickname for my daughter is Pigpen. Inspirational Mom: Jean Schulz
The characters Charles Schulz created will always hold a dear place in my heart as I grew up enjoying Charlie Brown and his friends in their comical observations of life. Jean Schulz was married to Charles Schulz and is currently President of the Board of Directors for the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, California. The Charles M. Schulz Museum opened in August 2002 to fulfill its mission of preserving, displaying, and interpreting the art of Charles M. Schulz. Ms. Schulz is quite active at the museum and blogs about her adventures in the cartooning and comic book world of Peanuts. We had a chance to talk this week and she shares…
