We live in a home in an area we absolutely love as the schools in our district are amazing and we are centrally located to some great shops, parks and pools.  But sometimes, I do get house envy when I go to my friends houses who live in another city who get more house for their buck.  I love mid-century ranch style homes and hope someday to purchase one when my daughter goes off to college.  In the meantime, I have to find ways to maximize my space in the house and the kitchen is one of my main challenges. Our house was built in the 1980’s and the way they designed the…
