    November 8, 2019 /

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.” ~ Anonymous Mountains, vineyards, farms, ocean and theme parks – California has something for everyone. Whether you are traveling from near or far, there are hidden gems to discover. Our latest discovery is Visalia located in the San Joaquin Valley which is 190 miles north of Los Angeles. Known to many as the gateway to the Parks, many visitors enjoy Visalia’s food, fun and festivals on their way to Sequoia and King’s National Parks.  Driving out of LA and into the small town charm of Downtown Visalia is a great weekend getaway. One of the best perks…

Travel :: Experience Xcaret in Mexico’s Riviera Maya

    March 29, 2019 /

“Wanderlust: n. a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world” Sometimes you travel and then sometimes you travel and it changes you.  Or brings you back to yourself.  That is how I felt after spending a few days in Cancun, Mexico and experiencing the Xcaret Parks.  Located on the eastern part of the Yucatan Peninsula, just south of Cancun, Riviera Maya stretches 100 miles along the Mexican Caribbean. Known for their white beaches, blue waters and Mayan ruins, it truly feels like paradise and the perfect get-away for couples, families or even a girls trip.     There is so much to share with you…

Travel :: A Visit to Idyllwild

    March 7, 2019 /

Recently I had a chance to participate in a media trip with ConnectHER Media and visit the lovely town of Idyllwild.  This was my first time visiting this cute mountain town and I have to say I came away this past week dying to bring my family for a visit as I know they would love the scenery and amazing restaurants.  It is such a gorgeous city and one of the mom’s who helped organize the trip said it hasn’t changed much in the 25 plus years she and her family has visited.  Idyllwild’s visitor center describes the city perfectly.       Idyllwild is a nature-lovers oasis located…
