Dandelion Moms Project Kindness for May :: Honoring Ryan

Today I read about a family who is going through every parents worse nightmare.  A fellow mom blogger (@babyboybakery) lost her beautiful son this past Friday night in a senseless accident.  You can read more about it here but from what I gather,  3 1/2 year old Ryan was playing Frisbee in front of a relative’s house and ran into the street chasing after it.  A truck was driving by at that moment and a horrible accident happened in a blink of an eye.  Jacqui and her husband are having to go through what no parent should go through.  It is senseless and just so sad.

I wanted to see if we could send some seeds of kindness, love and support to this family.  They are using the hashtag #redballoonsforryan on Twitter and Thrive Moms, an online ministry,  is taking donations for the family through PayPal.  Please take a moment to send your condolensces to the family and please share his story.  Jacqui, his a mom – is just like you and me and is going through such a tragic loss that it doesn’t matter if we have never met her before.  She is you and me.  She is the mom who adores her son and she and her husband, Dan, need all the love and support we can send them.

How We Can Help:

The Dandelion Moms Project Kindness is about spreading seeds of kindness by supporting organizations and individuals who are giving back to their communities.  I think this family could use all the support we can provide. Please join me and honor this little boy’s life.  If you would like to make a donation you can do so through the Thrive Moms online ministry site.  They are using PayPal and you can find the link on their site.  Also, Indi Nook is donating all proceeds of their red balloon t-shirt to Ryan’s family.  You can order a shirt here to show your support.

Other ways we can show our support and love is by releasing some red balloons into the sky in Ryan’s honor.   Or bring a bunch of red balloons to your local women and children’s shelter, orphanage, or children’s hospital.  You can tell the recipients that the balloons are in the honor of a little boy named Ryan. If you want,  post any pictures of you and your family releasing or giving out these red balloons in honor of Ryan Cruz Saldana and let the family know by using the hashtag #redballoonsforryan.

Thank you lovely dandelion moms.

In honor of Ryan we will be bringing some red balloons by our local women and children’s shelter and purchased a red balloon t-shirt.
