The last time I went to Disneyland was in 1985. We had such an amazing time as a family and I have always wanted to go back. I am now pregnant with my first child and hope to be able to take her to visit this magical place.

My favorite Disney memory is watching my son, who was 10 at the time, waging saber to saber combat with Darth Maul during Jedi Training in Tomorrow Land. This was during what would likely be our one and only trip to Disney Land. It would be amazing to be able to take them again. On a side note, we booked that trip through your sponsor, GetAwayToday.com and they are fantastic!
Thanks for this opportunity!
Lisa
There are so many memories! I think watching my son get over his fear of fast rides by getting on Thunder Mountain this last trip was pretty cool.

My favorite Disney memory was when we were able to take our daughter for the very first time last year. She is 12 with various disabilities and had shown signs she was ready to take te trip. The first character she saw was Pluto and he took extra time with her and she loved it! Later that evening, during a parade, Pluto saw her and went right to her. She had the biggest smile and wanted to follow him. Seeing my daughter’s smile was the best memory of the trip. (And being able to go on rides with her was priceless!)

Seeing my son smile when he found out we were going to Disneyland.

I’ve never been to Disney, but would love to take my girls

My favorite memories go back to my childhood when my grandparents–who lived 10 minutes from DisneyLand–would take us kids there for a day of fun. It was really something for this little country girl to see such a magical place. As an adult, I went back to visit and fell in love with “Soarin’ Over California” – my favorite attraction!

My favorite Disneyland memory is when I was around 10 years old. My whole family spent the day at Disneyland and had a blast. I loved the yellow submarine ride & Space Mountain.

My daughter and I would go to Disneyland all the time when we had annual passes. We used to have so much fun there.

I was three years old the last time I went to Disney World, I’ve never been to Disney Land, so I don’t remember any of it to have a favorite memory. 🙁

One of my most embarrassing moments was at Disney *World*’s water park.. lost one section of my top when I got squashed by a giant tidal wave! Still a funny memory :).
Melissa
That’s hysterical Hilary! Had something like that happened while waterskiing…

going to Disney World (FL) and being able to take a good friend with me for that summer vaca! It’s stuck with me b/c we wore our ‘jelly shoes’ that day and our feet were pitiful by the end! My parents went and enjoyed Epcot Center which I don’t believe had been open long and Space Mountain the ride was down getting repairs or something *lol* Lots of fun that first day and tons of pix (I was a bit short and got stuck in the one thing you put you head in / arms and it went over you like you were on display in the Wild West for being a criminal lol I could NOT get out and my friend had to go get help HAHA)

This past November my husband and I took our 3 year old to dinsey for the first time. Every single moment was a memory. But, by far the light parade was my favorite as I remember watching it as a child.

Following Quentin Tarantino give a tour thru the castle arch. We followed a little while, and it was fine with them. Should have taken a photo, but just fun following him. 🙂

I have always wanted to be able to take my whole family and not worry. My son has never Been, he has been to Afghanistan 5 Times. I went as a child and have such great memories of it. I have recently lost 84 pounds, and would sure love to be able to visit the parks with no effort to get around.

Last time I was at Disneyland, I was 3 years old (now I am nearly 43), but I clearly remember the “it’s a small world after all” ride. I have 3 boys now, and would love for them to see Disneyland!

My favorite memory has to be watching my little girl get wrapped up in Pluto’s arms so tightly that she simply disappeared into him. Pluto rolled around on the ground with her and made her smile jump right off her face and into my memory bank forever. Disney just has this way of helping parents and their children capture memories that last a lifetime. Childhood might go by quick but Disney helps us always feel the magic!

When my first son was 0-1 we had Disneyland annual passes and went all the time. When he started walking at 9 months, I often would let him out of the stroller, and one time we were watching the parade that was about to start and suddenly the music started and it was so loud that my son jumped high in the air and ran to crab tight hold of mummy’s leg, unfortunately the closest leg wasn’t me, but a complete stranger and when he looked up his expression was priceless and we all laughed. Poor little guy, we couldn’t help it, it was too amusing. 🙂

I went with my father and sister in 1979. Riding Dumbo with my sister was like flying!! Then in 1988 went with the high school band. We got on space mountain 6 times in a row!!

Seeing the joy on my 8 year old nieces face as she walked around her Brave costume after visiting the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique. When she stood in line for an hour to meet the character Merida, she spent about 5 minutes with her, showed her how to shoot the bow and arrow and took lots of pictures… Not sure if it was because my niece was dressed like her, or the fact that it was her birthday or both
