GET YOUR MOTOR RUNNING… with Kia’s World-Class Vehicles

 

My wife and I were invited to attend the Kia Exclusive Brand Experience showcasing Kia’s lineup of world-class vehicles down at The Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.  We headed down from Orange County and they definitely treated us like rock-stars! Make no mistake, the crew at Kia are hard at work coming out with some of the safest and coolest cars on the market, but sure know how to have a good time!

 

 

Once dwelling at the bottom of the J.D. Powers report, this company has turned around their image and quality of cars to become one of the safest cars available and top the JD Powers IQS Report for safety on both the 2016 Soul and Sportage vehicles.  From the Kia Soul to the more luxurious Cadenza, there is something for everyone in the family.  We both have our personal favorites but read more about what Kia has going for it!

 

 

 

After checking into our room (which if you haven’t visited a Hard Rock Hotel yet you really should – great for couples and families),  we looked around the hotel at all the cool rock-n-roll memorabilia.  I loved seeing Janis Joplin’s outfit she wore to a concert back in the day as well as all the cool guitars played by famous musicians that you can find throughout the hotel. We then stopped by the hotel bar for a drink and checked out some of the new Kia models outside the hotel.

 

 

 

Pre-party:

You have to love a car company that offers pinball and video games for it’s attendee’s and the Harman/Kardon premium audio systems playing tunes!  Every Kia employee we spoke to was super helpful and had so much to say about where the company has been and where they are headed to.  I really liked the variety of colors they offered and luxury feel to even the most basic models.

GET YOUR MOTOR RUNNING…

Like a great rock and roll lyric, you need a little inspiration. Well the Kia motors line of cars are full of inspiration. From the slick new designs and features to the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty Kia is hitting all the right notes.

 

Once a afterthought in the car market, Kia is quickly becoming the choice of car drivers all over the country. From the top of line K900 down the funky fun SOUL Kia has something for everyone. I was fortunate enough to take several of the cars on a test drive around San Diego recently and was blown away by the look and feel of the cars. One of my favorites was the new 2017 Kia Sportage. The handling and feel of the car were as good as any I’ve driven and the features were awesome. ( I really loved the navigation) while my partner @joesdaily loved the Wi-Fi and was able to pick off Pokémon while cruising the coastline.

 

2016 marks the first time in 27 years that a non-luxury brand has led all industry nameplates in the U.S. Initial Quality Study.

 

While you may see other car companies tout their safety, design, comfort and technology, they don’t compare to the latest and greatest Kia vehicles.  But let’s talk numbers and facts! Not only are these cars fun to drive, but Kia models SOUL and Sportage Ranked highest in nameplate on the 2016 JD Power Initial Quality Study(IQS). It marked the first time in the 27 year history of the report that a non- luxury brand topped the IQS.

What’s even more impressive is how far they come in such a short period of time! In 2001, J.D. Power and Associates ranked them last in quality.  But in 2016 two of their models, the 2016 Sportage and SOUL are at the top of the list!  The company is very committed to providing the best quality car for it’s customers.  Check out the latest Kia Soul  and Sportage Reviews, from owners and and consumers alike.

 

 

During the early morning presentation put on by the amazing Kia staff outlining the companies vision for the future we were given a glimpse into the future of what the car company has in store. Over the next 7 years look for Kia to come out with 20 redesigned models. Kia will be moving in a more environmentally friendly direction with all new versions of the Kia soul (all electric model) as well as the NIRO, a hyrbrid SUV which will soon be the envy of all hybrids on the market.

But don’t think Kia is just about fun. There luxury cars are world class in design and comfort and the technology available is top notch.

So if your not sure by now what to get as your next car. Stop by your local Kia dealer for some good old fashioned fun.
