We had a chance to preview the Nintendo Switch console and games at the Nintendo Switch Launch Party held at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.  Let’s just say my daughter’s mind was blown!  She is definitely the gamer in the family but what I like about the Nintendo Switch is that is user friendly and even good ‘ol mom could figure it out!  The new games they released are super fun and our favorites were Splatoon 2, ARMS and 1 2 Switch.

 

 

Kate had a chance to go up on stage and engage in a Wild West gun fight with her opponent, Robert.  It was hysterical watching these two glare each other down and then on the count of three draw and fire.  They were not only told who won but how quickly they both drew their guns.  Robert beat Kate by fractions of a second and she mentioned that “he just got lucky!” which of course had the audience laughing at this feisty redhead!  I can’t wait to try this game out with the family!

 

 

The ARMS game is really fun too and I love how interactive each of these games are  The Nintendo Switch allows you to bring it everywhere – home or out and about.  And the games encourage this type of interactive play between the players.  I beat I know what will be on your kids birthday wish list this year!  The request for one has already been mentioned at least a dozen or so times around our household!

 

 

At the party they offered different ways to try out the Nintendo Switch console and games. In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system can be taken on the go so players can enjoy a full home console experience at home, school, cars, airplanes – anywhere you go – the Nintendo Switch system can come along for the ride to be enjoyed!
