IVORY Free & Gentle Body Wash Provides Peace of Mind for Busy Families

Today’s post is brought to you by PG&E.
Ivory soap is one of America’s most historic, iconic brands. Starting 138 years ago with a floating bar of soap, Ivory was the original gentle family brand you could trust.  Times have changed since 1879, but more than ever consumers need brands that are safe and gentle enough for their family. Ivory aims to simplify life so you can spend more time on the things that matter most.  I have used Ivory soap since I was a kid.  It has been our go-to brand because we liked the scents they offered and it never dried out our skin.
And now Ivory has come out with new packaging for their dye and paraben-free pH balanced body wash made with essential oils.  Ivory Free & Gentle provides nourishing moisture and cleans our messy kids without the chemicals that can be harmful to some.  I know when my daughter was younger she had issues with certain products so we stayed clear of detergents and soaps that had parabens and fragrances.  She has outgrown this sensitivity but we still make an effort to stay clear of chemicals that could aggravate her sensitive skin.  I love the scents they offer as well!  From scents of pear and sandalwood, to chamomile, sweet pea and lily, there is something for everyone in the family.

IVORY simplify your everyday routine so you can focus on the big moments!  When looking back at the small moments, like jumping in puddles and bath time, those will be ones we look back on with affection.  I think about how my daughter started out in a baby tub in our kitchen sink and I’ve watched her over the years enjoy her bath time.  From the baby seat fitted for bathtubs to now where she spends her time in the tub watching YouTube videos and pretty much takes up the whole tub she’s grown so much!  The kid loves her baths that is for sure!

Tips for Making Bath Time Extra Fun!

TOYS:
Provide some bath toys.  We had one of those really large yellow ducks for years that she would put in the tub with her.  She loved it and it just recently got thrown away.  I know – we had a little attachment to that one but I still put out rubber ducks if she is in the mood to put them in her tub.  Heck, sometimes I do too!
GOGGLES:
Kate loved to put these on during bath time!  And it makes for great pictures don’t ya think?
WASHABLE Markers and Paints:
We used to get these and let her go to town on the bathtub walls.  Just make sure you get the ones specifically made for the tub!  They will wash right off!

DYE & PARABEN FREE Soap:
Be sure to keep their skin moisturized with products such as Ivory’s Free & Gentle Body Wash.  I also like to add in a few drops of lavender scented bath salts to help relax her before bedtime.  You can find unscented bath salts at your local store and add in a few drops of lavender essential oils for a relaxing bath before bed.  I find this helps calm her after a long day of school and homework.
MUSIC:
Play your kids favorite bands and depending on the time of day, choose upbeat or more relaxing tunes.
These moments will be ones you look back with fondness.  Regardless of how many kids you have – (which I can imagine for some bathtime can be quite crazy),  at least you know when you use Ivory Free & Gentle Body Wash you are using a product that only uses quality ingredients.
Available at your local supermarket and drugstore.
