Rosemary Garlic Butter Steak Recipe

This summer my husband and daughter visited a good friend of his in Colorado and they came back with the most delicious steak recipe.  This friend of ours loves to cook and let me tell you this is one of the best steak recipes I have tried.  And it is super easy prep!  If you love juicy steak you are going to love this delicious recipe!

Ingredients Needed:

1 16 oz Ribeye steak

2 cloves crushed garlic

2 tablespoons of fresh chopped rosemary

Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of butter

Directions:

Let steak sit out at room temperature for one hour.  Then coat the steak with olive oil, 1 tablespoon of garlic and 1 tablespoon of rosemary.

Salt and Pepper to taste

Heat cast iron skillet and add the rest of the butter, garlic and rosemary.

After the butter melts cook steak for 2 minutes each side.  Take from the skillet and finish off on the grill to your preference – about 2 minutes each side for medium rare steak.  Add in some rosemary potatoes and a vegetable and dinner is ready!
