The Mini Boden Fall Clothing Line is Perfect Anytime

We had a chance to try out some of Mini Boden’s Fall Clothing Line this past week with a photo shoot of my daughter and two of her best buddies who she has grown up with since she was 18 months old.  They had a blast modeling for us and I love how Mini Boden clothes are great for anytime and for any event.  They have a great selection of play clothes that will stand the test of time. Another bonus is if you have a couple children, they can be passed along and hand-me-downs won’t feel so much like hand-me-downs!  That is one of the reasons I have been in-love with this clothing company that is based out of England – their clothes are so well made!  And if you know my little tomboy, she is pretty tough on her clothes and shoes, but the Mini-Boden outfits I have purchased over the years have always held up really well.  Which is great as I can resale them once she grows out of them to our local children’s resale boutique.  Make sure to check out their clearance sales for some real bargains!

 

 

When we pulled this adorable dress out of the box, her eyes lit up!  She couldn’t wait to put it on and kept telling us how pretty and soft it felt. Her mother told me that she is very sensitive to fabrics and can be quite picky and if an outfit fits too tight or is too scratchy, she won’t wear it.  She ended up wearing this dress after the photo shoot and to school the next two days.  If you have a child who is sensitive to fabrics, this just might the clothing line you have been looking for!  Check out more of their adorable dresses here.

 

 

Their shoes are really amazing and again, like everything else they sell, really well-made.  I love all the fun colors and styles.  My daughter can be found playing sports any chance she gets – at school or at home, so we go through high tops and sneakers quite a bit around here!  I wanted to get her some stylish boots which she can wear with skinny jeans but still be able to play basketball or handball at school.  She picked out these gold ones.

 

 

My daughter can be tough to shop for as she wants to wear clothes that will allow her to move freely on the playground.  Plus, they can’t be too girly (her words).  But with the Mini Boden’s line – you can find both. Pretty dresses and skirts and more neutrals colors and styles like the cords she is wearing above.

The clothing line was started in 1991 by Johnny Boden and offered only 8 menswear products.  In 1992 they added women’s wear and children’s wear in 1996.  The company has grown so much they average shipping out 12,500 parcels a day!  I think the popularity of the company has to do with repeat customers because you can always find something cute or cool for your baby, child, teenager or even husband!  I have purchased some products from them as well for myself and I still wear them.  They really do hold up the test of time – in both styles and durability.

 

 

All of these outfits allow kids to move freely and just be kids.   I love how skinny jeans are still popular and can work with high tops or boots like our two girls are wearing.  And I have always been a fan of wearing dresses over pants.  This looks so cute don’t you think!  Oh, and least forget to mention the adorable socks, tights and undergarments for the kids.  As long as your washing machine doesn’t eat them up (like ours does occasionally), you will have these basics for a long time – that is, until they grow out of them.  We still have some fun polka dotted socks from two years ago (I recommend buying a size up so they can wear them longer).

 

 

 

The boys clothes are filled with plaid shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, cool shorts and pants.  I like this robot top on my friends son and he loves the orange high-tops! You can see more of the cool boys line here.

 

 

The girls took some time out to play a little one on one.  You don’t have to worry about the clothes restricting their playtime!  Every year since my daughter has been in preschool, I have purchased a Mini Boden jacket or warm vest for her.  I tend to buy a size or two larger so she can wear it for a couple seasons.  This fun vest is perfect for keeping them warm indoors and outdoors!
