PBS KIDS tapped into the millennial parent mindset with the Millennial Parent Holiday Wishes Survey and found that these young parents don’t want a high-paced, tech-overloaded holiday this year, but instead a simpler season with less shopping and more family fun. As many of you know, we have a 110+ German Shepherd mix that we adopted last summer from the German Shepherd Rescue Group of Orange County. Max, his eight brothers and sisters and mom, were found stranded in a Ford Dealership parking lot and were taken in by this wonderful group and provided foster homes until they all got adopted. Our family had a chance to check out Knott’s Merry Farm this month and it reminded me of how much fun Knott’s is during the holiday season. The entire theme park is decorated in Christmas cheer and you can’t help but noticing all the little additions throughout the park. It really does get you in the spirit of the holidays! Plus they are known for all of their amazing rides and my daughter absolutely loves roller coasters so we could be found running from ride to ride throughout the park.
